Minor Final Plat

Certificate of Conformity with Plans and Specifications

I hereby certify, to the best of my knowledge, ability, and belief, that all infrastructure work to be performed on this subdivision will be checked by me or my authorized representative and will conform with lines, grades, cross-sections, dimensions, and material requirements which are shown on and indicated in the plans which have been reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. Any significant changes or deviations will be reviewed and approved by the City Engineer prior to construction or installation. I also acknowledge that falsification of the above certification may subject me to civil suit and/or criminal prosecution under G.S. 14-100, 136-102.6.

Certificate of Private Road Design and Construction: (where appropriate)

(Use for pre-existing private roads)

I hereby certify that the proposed private roads are in compliance with all standards contained and referenced in the Statesville Subdivision Regulations, and that the "travel way" of said roads is located within the right-of-way as shown on the plat.

I hereby certify that the proposed private roads were constructed in conformance with the preliminary construction plans and profiles prepared in accordance with the Statesville Subdivision Regulations.

(Use in all cases of private roads)

All private roads shown on the forgoing plat shall not be maintained by the City of Statesville or the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The maintenance of all private roads in the subdivision shall be the responsibility of the developer and it shall further be his responsibility to improve such private roads as necessary in order to meet the standards as certified by the design and construction engineer. After transfer of ownership of the road to the homeowners' association it shall be their responsibility for maintenance. The transfer of ownership of any subdivision road from the developer to the homeowner's association can only occur when fifty percent (50%) of the units have been issued an occupancy permit by the Iredell County Inspections Department.
